It took 40 attempts before the secret formula was perfected for this essential component of everyone’s toolkit. The product was originally marketed as a water-displacement solvent, hence the name: WD-40.
That all happened in 1953, and the company has gone from strength to strength ever since, with the original formula still in use today.

The WD-40 marketing team asked us to design a timeline for them to display proudly in their offices. They wanted to highlight all the company’s achievements, starting with the original purpose of WD-40, for use in the aerospace industry. It was also vital to demonstrate how they now enjoy global distribution of their range of products.

The CPW designers worked closely with the WD-40 crew to create the perfect look for all their visitors to enjoy.
